ACT II (Academy of Community Theatre)

Ages 19-Adult

ACT II is a new division of ACT for actors ages 19 and older.  By incorporating some more mature actors with the younger actors, ACT & ACT II will be able to present a wider variety of productions that can not be produced with only actors 19 years old and younger.  (There are certain roles that just can’t be played convincingly by a teenager.) It will also allow the younger actors to learn from the experiences of the more seasoned actor. Some productions may be a combined effort, like The Legend of Robin Hood, while others may be cast with only ACT actors.

Through time, we will be developing classes for ACT II as well to help actors continue in developing their craft.   (We will also have classes for adults who have never acted before and want to test the waters!)

This semester, we will be offering ONE class that will include ACT II students.
